I am having problems while tying to configure a MGCP gateway
I have installed the DSP modules, the VIC2-4FXO card and everithing is beeing recognized in the Inventory as well as in the show diag
but when stating to configure the MGCP part in order to configure the ccm-manager:
Router(config) ccm
I get a "invalid input detected" and also unrecognized command" when mgcp comand is typed
What could be the problem?

What is the result from " show version " command ? did you have appropriate image installed inside the router to work with DSP modules and voice card ?

Hi,
The commands are certainly context-sensitive whether in user, exec or config modes, so use "?" and see if you can find the command which you trying to type.
Maybe that helps

I had a similar issue after my 4331 failed and I attempted to load the previous config on the new 4331. The license needs to be re-homed (may be able to be done from Cisco licensing portal or smart license manager, I had to contact TAC to engage licensing team). Once they issue the LIC file it gets copied to bootflash: and then installed (license install <WORD.LIC>
Once it's installed I think the EULA needs to be accepted (license accept end user agreement) and if it's disabled in the config, you need to remove that line (no license boot level uck9 disable) then wr mem and reload.
After that, it should show as YES enabled in show license feature and as uck9 in show version under Technology Package License Information.
Once the license show active/enabled, UC global config commands like MGCP and ccm-manager will work instead of saying "invalid input.
Very frustrating process.
