Need to setup intercluster trunk (that will connect over internet through ipsec tunnel.
On the CCM page, do I need to enable an MTP? All calls will be g729

ICT does not require an MTP, if you enable MTP on it all calls will invoke an MTP, which can lead to scalability concerns if you have a lot of calls running across the ICT.

To be on the safe side, I will enable MTP and assight the ICT a MRGL that has a software MTP in it.

Hi,
If a CTI Route point / IPCC Express is involved in the destination side?
The script has a transfer to an external number via a H323 gateway.
From the docco, I found something stating CTI RP with 1st party call control would require an MTP. Is that correct?
Where would the MTP be selected from?
The MRGL of the CTI Port?
Or is it the ICT? or the Gateway even?
In this case if it is required.. I was expecting to still leave MTP required unticked on the ICT config. Is that correct?
Cheers,
Tim
