Our auditing department has requested that I figure out a way to verify that all the CDR records are being sent to the billing system. If possible I would like to run a query on CUCM over a particular time range and output a total number of minutes and total call count. I will then go into the billing system and run the same report and I should get the same numbers. Is is possible to get this info out of Call Manager?

CUCM really doesn't have a report that would give you that, you usually have to filter by user/device/GW/etc.
The reports that CAR/CDR offers are all canned reports and you cannot adjust what info you see.
You probably have different reports in your 3rd party billing that do a lot more than what you can do with CAR.

[@jacob.landry] I agree, your best bet is to use a 3rd party solution to analyze your CDR and get the metrics you need. Check out Variphy Insight, mention my name (Edgar) to get an extended evaluation, if this is a one time project the evaluation license should help you validate what you need.
