Changing Integration CCX ( 8.5 SU1 ) with other CUCM

Hi,

I've looking all over the docs and the forum, but i can't find the instructions to change the CUCM to other.

We are installing a new CUCM 8.6, with a new IP and shutting down the old one 8.5.1.

The CCX should be re-integrated with the CUCM and des-integrated from the old one.

From the doco, i've seen that the provider should be changed manually via CLI, using the following commands:

set uccx provider ip axl

set uccx provider ip jtapi

set uccx provider ip rmcm

But I guess this is pointed only when the CUCM changes IP.

Someone on this forum also said that re-integrating to other is impossible and should be handled only by TAC.

Can someone please asssore me?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,

You might need CET tool. You can download it from your uccx server:

http:///uccxinstalls/CetTool.exe

But I believe that you will need root access to the server to use it. So it seems like only TAC can run this tol for you.

regards,

Volodymyr

Volodymyr is right. You cannot do it yourself in version 8.x

Cettool.exe is only good with root access.

Call TAC and let TAC engineer to reset UCCX to FRESH_INSTALL

Hi,

Yes, I've contacted TAC and it's a little bit dissapointing but only they can make the change.

Root account for CET is must.

Thank you both.
