CUCM 8.6/ CIPC 8.6.3 running on Win7 Enterprise SP1 32-bit
Logged in as local administrator on a laptop, I install CIPC, then update device name.
No problem... I can make & receive phone calls.
However, after rebooting, CIPC no longer allows me to change anything on the Network tab.
(This machine will be shared, so we need the ability to change the device name.)
Any ideas?

Hi,
you need just to run IP communicator as an administrator. Just right click and choose "run as administrator" from the menu.
