Is there any way around hard codeing the CIPC device to a Mac Address when Loading it on CME 8.6?
I have it configured like so

ephone 14
no multicast-moh
mac-address 0021.70F2.5E1C
ephone-template 1
paging-dn 60
type CIPC
button 1:5
pin 147258
!
But if the user flip flops between devices or Network cards like LAN or Wireless the CIPC fails to register.
In CUCM u can assign it a name such as RyanIPC and it will register against that.
Thoughts?
