Hello.
I have a UC520 that has a malfunctioning MOH port. i have a Cisco 1720 Router and E/M card i can install
in the 1720. so my question is can i set up music on hold from a live feed E/M port on the 1700 to use on my UC520?

You might be able to make this work using multicast MOH hold from the 1720. See this link.

Do you have a free FXO port on the UC520? Looks like it is also possible to use this port as a live feed. The following doc references CME. Since the UC520 is essentially CME on a purpose built box it should work. I have not tested to verify.
