Cisco 3911 + Asterisk

HAs anyone got the Cisco SIP Phone 3911 working on Asterisk? If you have can you please give me a detailed guide of how to get it working please.

FYI - the 3911 wasn't designed to work with 3rd party call control. The 7960/40 was the only phone model expected to do this. You may be able to get it to work, but there's a good chance it won't work correctly.

Hi Nick,

I have found various people making this work on the asterisk system with no issues. If you would be so kind and tell me how i can upload .cnf files to the phone i keep getting errors.

I am telnetting onto the phone via hyperterminal and then running this command to communicate with my local tftp server:

tftp 10.X.X.X SIPDefauly.cnf

and the phone blinks red and throws 2 errors
