Few Cisco 6911 phones are not registering to CUCM 8.0. When we plug in the phones all the lights are permanently glowing until we unplug it. We kept it more than one day like this but nothing happened. Still lights are glowing. Also not able to access IVR configuration menu. We did factory reset by holding # key followed by sequence keys , but still facing the problem. Can anyone please give some suggestion ?

Hi Shalu,
With CUCM 8.0 you need to install the Device Enabler for the 6911 as shown below;
Before using the 9.1(1) firmware for Cisco Unified IP Phone models 6901 and 6911 with Cisco Unified Communication Manager Release 7.1.3, 8.0.1, 8.5.1 and higher, you need install the Device Enabler on the Cisco Unified Communication Manager publisher in the cluster.
The 9.1(1) Device Enabler for the 6901 and 6911 is listed below.

Hi Rob Thanks for your reply.. I am facing this problem with 5 cisco 6911 phones only. I have registered many other 6911 phones without any issues to the same CUCM. I dont know whether it is hadrdware issue or not. Phone LEDs not turning off. so that we are unable to access even IVR menu. before all these phones were registered to CUCM 7.0 and then we tried to register with CUCM 8.0. Later we could not register to both the versions. Since all the 5 phones showing the same problem same time i think it will not be a hardware problem. I dont know exactly..expecting some sugessions.
