Cisco 7821 IP Phones FAC error

Hi,

when we enter FAC code in our 7821 IP Phones, it shows password in clear text. Meanwhile in other IP Phones models we have normal behavior i.e. FAC shows in *** mask.

Help required.

Thanks for your response, currently we are using 8.5.1, i just uploaded device pack cmterm-devicepack8.5.1.18135-1.cop.sgn. For adding 7800 series ip phones. Now we face this problem.

Hi Humza,

In order to have this feature FAC properly supported, CCM must have 8.6.X and the
phones must have firmware 9.2.1 or higher.

An upgrade to CUCM 8.6 is needed.
