On CUCM to register this phone, what configuration you did.Are you using self provisioning ?  or you added the mac address manually ?

Looks like its going through phone migration feature Using Phone Migration Service.

  • Plug-in new phone to the network

  • Key in primary extension and PIN (optional)

if you are  replacing an old phone through native migration feature , you need to enter the extension and enter the PIN for this user.

Have a look on below link.

I am doing manual configuration and we are not using any IVR.

How do I disable the phone migration process?

-Bala

Phone Migration Service cannot be disabled. Did you configured the phone with correct phone type and mac address ? if so i don't think it goes through this option. it should register.

If not manually configured With auto registration disabled, it will prompt you   get the phone migration or provisioning prompt option.

To check this behavior i need either 88XX or 78XX phone and CUCM 12.5SU3 which i don't have it with me right now.  i can check this behavior tomorrow. But cross check your manual phone configurations if you added the MAC address properly, device type etc.

As a workaround, try  enable auto registration and  once registered change the phone setting manually.

what's your CUCM version ?

Hi Nithin

I removed the phone and connected to other switch. After doing factory reset it got registered successfully.

Then I connected the phone to its original place.

Thanks and Regards
