Hi
I am after advice on the best way to lock down a conference phone from being able to dial outbound calls without the user having to enter a PIN number first. The system is CUCM 8.5 and I am new to this system and after some advice on the best way to do this
Thanks

CUCM doesn't provide that option, what we provide is FAC/CMC and that's after you dial an outbound number which goes thru a FAC/CMC enabled route pattern. Obviusly it doesn't work for internal calls.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
I have noticed the FAC code and I can see how that works, but how do i stop the extension from using 9 followed by the number which doesnt require a FAC code. Only allow the phone to be able to dial 7 followed by the number and then have to use the FAC code
Thanks

That all depends on your route pattern config, just make sure to enable it for the route patterns you want need it for.
