Hi everybody

I just bought cisco 7940 phone for my ccna voice lab.

When I look at the firmware setting on the phone, that is what i found:

FIRMWARE VERSION

1) APP LOAD ID

    D00308010200

Is this firmware? what will happen if ip phone load different firmware version specified in configuration file on tftp server?

2) BOOT LOAD ID

    DC03A300

    What is that?

3) VERSION 8.1(2.0)

Is that the firmware version ?

4)  DSP 4.0(5.0)(A0)

What kind of codec this dsp uses ?

thanks and have a great day
