Whensomeone calls from external numer and I have stored contact on phone (cisco 7940), It's display only number not contact name. How I can change it, i try find answer on documentation but I didn't find anything.
CUCM can not do this, its a limitation. It can be done on the gateway using some advanced TCL scripting on the router but complex and with limitations.
If you are using CUCME then certainly its possible.
