Hi All,
I have a cisco 7942 phone that is 4hrs ahead in the time. Also a cisco 7821 is getting the correct time. I check the phone load and its not getting the correct phone load from the call manager. It keeps getting "auth fail" when trying to download. I suspect it is related to the phone loads. Can someone advise how I can force the phone to get the phone loads from the cucm?

What is the current 7942 firmware and what should the 7942 firmware be?

According to the compatibility matrix below, the firmware version should be 9.3(1) SR4.

If you have recently upgraded there may be a firmware upgrade that is needed before you can jump to 9.3(1)SR4.

HI,
What is the current phone load on the phone? Try going back to 8-3-3SR2S for that particular phone and then move to the current default set in the call manager.
