I am trying to replicate the same setup in the youtube link below. The cisco IP phone 7942 is connected to internet connection via BGAN (VSAT internet) connection. As per Cisco MRA docu, cisco 7942 doesnot support MRA, so not sure how this phone is getting registered to cucm via internet? Any suggestion? Thanks.
The satellite connection may be to the company servers via a VPN, not to the general internet. Or they could have converted the phone to use SIP and connect directly to a cloud PBX.
Thanks for your response. The BGAN internet satellite terminal is purely internet connection and doesnt support vpn setup, I think probably set as SIP phone...Thanks for your help.
