Cisco 7965 phone not logging missed, recieved, and placed calls.

We have a single 7965 w/expansion module phone that is not logging missed, received, or placed calls with firmware version SCCP45.9-2-1SR2S. Phone stopped logging calls about a month ago.

CUCM version

User is logged into the phone using extension mobility.

We have tried replacing the phone, no difference.

Any ideas?

Try updating to 9.2.3

You can also check the service parameter "Clear Call Logs on Intra-Cluster EM"

The parameter is found under CUCM>service parameter>"select server"> Extension Mobility

If this parameter is set to true, then when the user logs out of the phone, the call logs are cleared....

Clear Call Logs on Intra-Cluster EM: Required Field  This parameter determines whether the call information stored on the phone directory (missed calls, placed calls, received calls) is cleared when a user manually logs in or out of a phone in the same cluster. For Extension Mobility Cross-Cluster (EMCC), the call log is always cleared when the user logs in or out of a phone. Valid values specify True (the phone deletes the call information) or False (the phone does not delete the call information and subsequent phone users can review the missed, placed, and received call information).

   This is a required field.

   Default:  False

Issues been resolved. Factory defaulted the phone resolved the issue.

Below are the steps to perform to factory default this 7965 model phone.

Step 1 Unplug the power cable from the phone and then plug it back in.

The phone begins its power-up cycle.

Step 2 While the phone is powering up, and before the Speaker button flashes on and off,

press and hold #.

Continue to hold # until each line button flashes on and off in sequence in amber.

Step 3 Release # and press 123456789*0#.

You can press a key twice in a row, but if you press the keys out of sequence, the factory reset will not take place.

After you press these keys, the line buttons on the phone flash red, and the phone goes through the factory reset process.

Do not power down the phone until it completes the factory reset process, and the main screen appears.
