Cisco 7965g will not power on after hard reset

A hard reset was performed incorrectly on a cisco 7965g ip phone and now the phone will not power on at all. The screen and buttons illuminate briefly but nothings happens after that. I have tried connecting PoE and with AC power. Any Suggestions or am i dealing with a bricked device.
