Cisco 7975 dead network port!

HI,

I have a 7975 SIP phone unit and today the network port dont work anymore. Was showing only ethernet disconnected. I tried all ways i saw on the forum, change all cables, but on wall power, poe, and nothing worked, the phone starts on poe but dont have network connection like in power wall.

I did a software reset but nothing changed.. i did a hard reset, same old.

Any way to use the access port to connect to SIP? also, now i need to use access port to load TFTP to cause of the hard reset.

is this the only phone affected or do you have other phones as well ?

have you tried connecting the phone on a different network and a different switch-port ?

btw you can use the port in access mode with a voice vlan defined.

The only one.

Have tried all things changed everything.

I cant do a vlan on access port cause i need to rewrite the firmware cause of hard reset.

How can i config access port to voice lan?

Can i write the firmware and config from RS232?
