Cisco 8800 Problem Report URL not recognized in Enterprise Firmware

Hello community,

We are trying to use the Problem Report feature on our Cisco 8800 IP phones. In the SEP007686CEFD4E.cnf.xml file, we have set:

<problemReportUploadURL>http://192.168.178.31:8083/problem-report</problemReportUploadURL>

However, the phones do not query this URL. In the firmware logs, we see:

DEB … JAVA-configmgr MQThread|cip.xml.XmlParser:parse - XML Parser: Unknown element ‘problemReportUploadURL’ in element ‘/device’ (line=134)

Has anything changed in the Enterprise Firmware sip88xx.14-3-1-0201-246 regarding this element, or is this functionality now configured differently?

Any insights would be appreciated!

It’s resolved.

I had a faulty SEPMAC.cnf.xml, but it’s now working with the original SEPMAC.cnf.xml that I extracted via PRT. I connected my phone to a CUCM once to obtain the original configuration through provisioning. Otherwise, I don’t use the Cisco phone with a CUCM system, which is why I extracted the configuration via PRT and was able to solve the problem that way. So, it’s not a firmware issue.
