Cisco 8821 - lock settings

Hello,

I've got new wireless phones, model 8821 and they're working perfectly.

My question here is how do I lock the configuration menu ? I had model 7921 and 7925 and I had to dial "**#" to unlock the configuration menu, but in this new model 8821 the menus are open and I can't find where do I lock these settings.

Any idea on this ?

when you go to the phone itself, under phone specific Configuration layout, is there an option "settings access  enable/disable"?

Hi,

My colleague managed to lock settings under CUCM phone configuration:

Product Specific Configuration Layout\Settings Access : Restricted.

It's all good now!

Also, if you use a Wireless LAN Profile you need to check the Wireless LAN Profile Information. User Modifiable settings are: Allowed, Disallowed, & Restricted.
