Cisco 8845 desk phone and a Plantronics Voyager 5200 headset- Compatibility

My headset worked without issue for months. Suddenly, the headset shows disconnected bu the phone still shows it connected and will not allow me to disconnect. Help!

Did you try the following steps?
1. Swap this Voyager to other 8845 Phone and use it -> this will be scope the problem that will be the hardware issue on Phone or headset
if you have more than one headset, try them on the phone as well.
2. Factory reset the phone

I am not familiar with those two devices but for helping you to scope the problem.
