Cisco 99XX IP phone and G.722.1 support?

Hi all,

We are using Cisco 9951 and Jabber for Windows. Unfortunately we lost support of HD voice as 9951 only supports G.722 codec and not G.722.1 which Jabber uses.

So will we soon see a firmware upgrade for 9951 that supports G.722.1?

It's annoying that we now see a lack of HD voice, after useres was getting used of it .

There is an enhancement request open for this issue . You can contact your local Cisco accounts team with your specific business requirement to have this issue fixed for you.
