Cisco and Nortel Integration

I am working on an environment where they have a mix of Nortel CallPilot and Cisco Unified communications manager. Currently they are connected via a QSIG trunk. However we are trying to migrate this to a SIP trunk. The problem we are running into is that the MWI is not working across the systems. An example of this is where a cisco phone has a Call Pilot voicemail box we do not see the MWI, we do see the request sent to call manager but then CUCM responds with 200 OK and then nothing.

We also need to get the reverse working where there is a Nortel phone with Unity Connection voicemail.

Any thoughts on this would be great.

Hi Michael,

You can use the following SIP trunk integration doc between CUCM and Nortel as a reference, this one was tested for MWI as well
