Cisco CM 4.2 CDP Error when Add a New Phone

Hi,

I have a problem with a Cisco CM 4.2 version; when I must Add a New Phone in CCM Administration I insert the detail requested but when I click the Insert button the CM Publisher Server answer with an error:

Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP): Switch Port: Warning! CDP should only be disabled on the Network port if this phone is connected  to a non-Cisco switch. For further details, consult the Cisco Callmanager Administration Guide.

Note: If you clicked Update just prior to receiving this message, the Update operation did not occur. Please clock OK and then click Update again to save your changes.

I have alredy installed the last device package (ciscocm.4-2-3-DevPack-60.exe) but there is the problem yet.

In attach the images of the error.

Can you help me?

Hi Rob,

I tried to follow your instruction but when I click OK on the second message the update does not take effect but the web page of the ccm administration remains on the Insert page of the phone and the phone is not in the list of the ccm phones.

Do you have some ideas?

Thank you in advance Rob.

Cheers
