Hi,
I have a CME 10.5 installation on a Cisco 2921 with a 4-Port FXO and 3 analog lines connected to the PSTN/POTS.
Each of these lines are directed to a DN via PLAR (3 lines = 3 DNs)
The DNs are assigned to the buttons of one 7965 phone, which is handled by the receptionist.
If any of the FXO lines are in use, a red light should indicate this on the corresponding button.
How could this be achieved?
Current configuration (to make it easier to overview i just show one voice port):
voice-port 0/0/0
trunk-group FXO_ALL
connection plar opx 5001
caller-id enable
ephone-dn 1 dual-line
number 5001
label Line1
ephone 1
no phone-ui speeddial-fastdial
no phone-ui snr
no multicast-moh
mac-address nnnn.nnnn.nnnn
type 7965
button 1:1 2:2 3:3 4:4
Many thanks for some ideas!
Heinz

Hi Nadeem,
thanks for your answer. I already tried the mentioned solution (binding a analog line directly to the DN respectively button on the phone):
voice-port 0/0/0
trunk-group FXO_ALL
connection plar opx 5001
caller-id enable
dial-peer voice 1000 pots
destination-pattern 1000
port 0/0/0
ephone-dn 1 dual-line
number 5001
label Line1
trunk 1000 monitor-port 0/0/0
ephone 1
mac-address nnnn.nnnn.nnnn
type 7965
button 1:1
In general it is doing what i was looking for, but the major disadvantage is that you can´t CFWDALL these kind of DNs anymore.
Is there another way?
Many thanks
Heinz
