Cisco CP-8851 Web Browser Combability

Hi there,

 

I currently have a CP-8851-3PCC and I can not access the Webui at all. If I launch in Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge it will just display a loading wheel in the middle of the page. I believe this is because they are based on Chromium. 

 

If I load in IE it will let me log in but wont let me access any settings accept the User Tab under voice and the Info tab. On all the other tab it just displays the same loading icon. 

 

What web browser can I use

Hi, 

You might have an issue with chrome, when using that fw version, its pretty old. 

Try to access using IE, logging directly to the admin advanced page: http://IP_Address/admin/advanced 

Once you upgrade to a later firmware, you won't have this issue anymore and you'll be able to use Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc..

I have tried this but when trying to access the provisioning menu in order to put the upgrade rule I am presented with this screen, no matter how long you leave it it will keep on spinning.

This is strange, that shouldn't happen. 

Can you please try upgrading using the browser URL?

You should use something like:  http://<phone_ip>/admin/upgrade?http://<serv_ip[:port]>/upgradefile.loads 

Failing that, try performing a factory reset (if not already tried it)
