I work with cloud hosted voip phone systems, mostly Yealink phones and some polycom stuff.
Usually, we can bring in 3rd party hardware like cyber data paging box by using generic sip credentials.
Recently one of our sales reps sold an install where the customer wants to keep their Cisco CP-8861 3PCC phones.
Our hosting provider provides the following sip credential categories:
SIP Authentication ID
SIP Password
Server
Port:5060
On most devices I would know where to put this info but have no experience with Cisco products.
Could someone point me in the right direction?

So I found my answer on another board.
Try this
Log in to the phone web interface
click admin
click advanced
click voice tab
click ext1
Line enable = yes
scroll down to "Proxy and Registration"
Proxy = sip.phonero.net
Outbound Proxy = sip.phonero.net
Use OB Proxy In Dialog = yes
Register = Yes
Register Expires: = 120
DNS-SRV Auto prefix = yes
Use DNS-SRV = yes
Subscriber Information
Display name = <put your sip username here>
User ID = <put your sip username here>
Auth ID = <put your sip username here>
Password <put your sip password here>
Click submit all changes
I think this will get me connected. Thanks for your prompt response though, Cisco phones are quite the departure from all of the other sip devices I have ever worked with!

Thank you for your response but I was looking for more specific information as to where exactly in the remote web interface to put the above information in and if other information was required. I have already browsed the user and admin guides they do not provide specific info to answer my question. But thanks again!

I think, you should find everythin you need in the second link provided, under "Cisco IP Phone Troubleshooting" --> "Monitoring Phone Systems".
There check out the sections "SIP Settings", "Proxy and Registration" and "Subscriber Information"
I have already browsed the user and admin guides they do not provide specific info to answer my question. --> The guides will never present you the information on a silver plate. The thinking is the technician's job ';)'

I have tested this on a cisco model cp-8861 3pcc after a factory reset and it worked perfectly!
