Cisco CUCM Hardware Selection

Hi,

 

One of our customer is looking for migrating their existing analogue telephones to Cisco IP Telephony, It's completely isolated network no connectivity to outside world. They requirement is to have minimum 50 user and maximum of 100 users, the end user IP Phones model is 8945 (qty around 70). I need assistance in selecting proper CUCM hardware.

Thanks Mohammed. I think i will have to go with Cisco Business Edition 6000 series

Depending on your feature requirements, with that few phones and user, you might want to look into Call Manager express

Thanks for the reply, The customer prefers CUCM (Server) instead of CME Router. that's the reason I am checking is there any server which support less number of IP Phones. I think cisco doesn't have any other option other than business edition.

cucm runs on a VM and supports a max of 40000 per cluster, cme has a max of 450.

It supports a maximum of 200 IP Phones.

That's not an applicable option based on the requirements:
