Cisco CUPS 7.0.6 and SIP phone 8961

Hello,

Is it possible for ip phone 8961 SIP to run with CUPs 7.0.6 and CUCM version 7.1.5?

I have had a look at some documentation that only provides SCCP protocol phones and the 8961 ip phone isnt in the list? (See below)

Thanks

Hi

8961 is not supported with CUPC 7.0

Also it is supported in CUPS 8.X for IPPM not in SCCP or not in SIP.

But it is supported for  MOC Remote Call Contro and  Notify Presence Support SIP and SCCP

Hi Ronak,

We dont use CUPC, we use Microsoft Lync for MOC Remote Call control with CUPS version 7.0.6.

Does this make a difference? As you have not mentioned that its not supported for this functionality with the 8961 ip phone?

Thanks

Dwayne

Hi Dwayne,

Sorry I did noy got your new query. But 8961 with CUPS 7.0 will not work for MOC RCC also.
