Cisco E20 and CUCM 8.5.1.10000

Greetings:

I just noticed that CUCM 8.5  has support for phone type cisco E20 (former Tandberg E20), so i tried to register my E20 to the new cluster like the others cisco models, the problem is that I cant make it work in this way.

The E20 works great as a  third-party SIP device (advanced), but i want to know if its possible to make it work as any other cisco ip phone.

BTW my E20 is already  running the latest(?) firmware s52100te2_2_1.pkg.

It's difficult to provide information about the Cisco roadmap !

You could ask your Cisco System Engineer since your question is more a pre-sales question.

i'm triyng to setup the E20 as well as Sip Advanced device, but te cucm 8.5 is hebind a check point firewall i'm not being able to get Tandberg working can you please share you configuration for the Tandberg and CUCM so i can test?
