the doubt is quite simple,
Does the cisco 6900 phone support SIP firmware?
In Cisco support page there ir a SIP image for that phone series, but I have read that 6900 does not support SIP firmware.
It is for broadsoft call control plataform.

Yes it does for certain versions of CUCM/CME
The following admin guide for 6900 phone for CUCM 8.6 provides comparsion of features for SCCP and SIP loads:
