Cisco IP Phone 7945G - Loses screen after uploading for the first time

So I have now loaded 3 phones and they all have the same results.  The phone will work but the display screen does not show up.  I have attached a picture to show what I mean.   

 

Our guess is that the firmware is jumping too many revisions perhaps?  Please help!   Thanks.

Thanks for replying.  We have done soft and hard resets multiple times.  At this point we think it might be a firmware issue.  When we connect the phone to the server for the first time and it "updates", it might be jumping too many revisions at once.
