cisco ip phone not avalable; CME, Voice VLAN and a Data VLAN - problem

Hello,

I seeing a problem with an initial test deployment of IP Communicator SoftPhones in that the network is configured for a Voice VLAN and a Data VLAN

When I install a SoftPhone, VLAN data is active and ping is available to the TFTP address, and the Voice VLAN is not available also the address of the TFTP to the Voice VLAN is not active.
After the show ephone command does not have any information

However, when the IP Phone was configured only for 'ip dhcp pool Voice', worked well but the option 'Rings' and 'Background Images' was available only the basic version.

Where is the problem?
Maybe the problem with MS Loopback?

Robert

Hello all
Carlo thanks for all the posts, the problem almost solved.

After change int fa1/7, switchport trunk native vlan 20 to 10 and switchport access vlan 10 to 20.
It is almost done, iphone is working, I have Background Images but ONLY default Ring, ring list unavailable.
Also router CME send mesage from time to time, I do not know what this mesage mean. Can some one help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks

Thanks for help

Robert

Hi Robert,

glad that you solved your issue.

For other issue, remove ip helper-address command from interface fastethernet1/0.10

Because the helper address is the same router, you don't need to define it.

HTH

Hello Carlo

Hello

Problem solved with the ring lists

Steps should be taken:
from the directory disk0: /ringtones/Analog1.raw

All files moved to the
disk0: Analog1.raw

then on router type the command for each file separately
for example,

tftp-server disk0: Analog1.raw

restart ephone and is done

Robert

Hi Carlo

it was

1tftp 192.168.15.6

2tftp 192.168.15.1

changed

1tftp 192.168.16.2

2tftp 192.168.15.2
