Cisco IPMA Support for 8800 Phones

Hello Everyone,

I need help to know if IPMA is supported on 8800 series IP Phones,

I looked up the release notes (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/8800-series/firmware/12-0-1/release_notes/p881_b_8800-series-RN-for_12_0_1.html) and found that IPMA is not supported on table 2 but i'm not sure if that is only for enhanced line mode or the phone in general.

Any help would be really appreciated

That's right. IPMA Feature is not supported in Enhanced Line Mode

You can configure IPMA on 8800. Below is the guide

Thanks, so it is suported on 8800, just only not in the enhanced line mode, the other mode should work fine right?

Thats what I can read from the admin guide. Also in Enhanced line mode it is considered for future releases.

I did not understand your answer regarding IPMA, does it work with an improved license?
I have a project and they ask me for the function Chief / secretary, the boss will have an IP phone 8841 and the Secretary an 8851 with its expansion module, as I see the guide is supported on 8800 models,

Now they use enhanced license, does that mean it won't work?
