Cisco Jabber deployment

Hi,

I have to deploy Cisco Jabber, but he doesn't start on OS start.

You could check the option in 'File' --> 'Options', or add the option 'Start_on_OS_Start' in the xml file.

I would modify the behaviour automatically.

Is there a registry key in windows that could be modified so that Jabber starts automatically ?

Thanks for help

Pre Jabber 10.5, you will be find jabber-config.xml in the path C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config. The settings will be in jabber-config.xml.

Starting from Jabber 10.5, the settings will be located in the file cachedTFTPConfigStore.xml which is stored in C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config\Cache

The best way is to change this on jabber-config.xml as you mentioned. Upload the file to CUCM and restart TFTP service.

This will make each phone registering with CUCM/IMP to get this file with the settings you prefer.

Thanks Mohammed.

I've just to find out the correct format of the xml file.

Are the settings added to  JabberLocalConfig.xml file located in the Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config folder ?

Pre Jabber 10.5, you will be find jabber-config.xml in the path C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config. The settings will be in jabber-config.xml.

After changing the file located in \Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config\Cache, could I upload it to the TFTP server on the CUCM ?
