Cisco Jabber for Desktop and Hunt Group

If an end user has a DN assigned to their CSF Device that is part of a hunt group, is there a way to log in and out of the group using the desktop Jabber app?  I couldn't find anything under the settings that relates to this.

Thank you.

Yes, you can add a logout button to Jabber.

Depending on your version of CUCM you will need to update the jabber-config.xml file. In 12.5 you can do it in the GUI. For versions before that you will need to download it and update it. But here are the steps.

  1. Signout of the Jabber app on your PC.
  2. Download the current jabber-config.xml file from your TFTP server – http://(CUCM TFTP):6970/jabber-config.xml
  3. Add the following to the file
    <Policies>
      <EnableCallPickup>true</EnableCallPickup>
      <EnableGroupCallPickup>true</EnableGroupCallPickup>
      <EnableOtherGroupPickup>true</EnableOtherGroupPickup>
      <EnableHuntGroup>true</EnableHuntGroup>
    </Policies>

  4. Restart Jabber and signin.
  5. You should now see a Hunt / Pickup option

Let me know if that helps.

One of user still dont see hunt group option on Jabber despite doing all steps.

Remember its only one user. rest all others able to see hunt symbol on jabber in that group. Please assist

Check the CSF device configuration for that user
Maybe it's assign to another xml file in (Cisco support filed)

Also to be sure use the jabber client for user that hunt group option is working and sign-in with the not working user
maybe the issue from the PC and jabber client in that PC.

When you say do it in the gui are you referring to this?
