cisco Jabber for window "Login failed - due to registration faliure". error

Dear All,

We have CUCM 8.6 and CUPS 8.6.We installed cisco Jabber for window.Its fail to login "Login failed - due to registration faliure".

CUCM is configurered but LDAP Authentication is not configured.

Is it important to configur LDAP Authentication for cisco jabber?

Hi Waqas

Yes You can If you are on CM8.6.2 you can use UDS rather then LDAP, which means that it uses the CUCM directory.

please answer the below questions

1- Which version of your Cisco jabber and your windows operating system?.

2-In your login you use the IP of your presence , or you use name of your CUP?

3-Did you configure DNS ?. If yes , you added the query of domain name of your CUP to the hosts file in your windows

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.

Thanks for replay .It was domain issue that is solved .

Now i want to enable desktop sharring on cisco jabber.Can you please send me the link to download the cop file "cmterm-bfcp-e.8-6-2.cop.sgn"

I download the "CiscoJabber-Admin-ffr.9-2-0"  and extract .its include the cop files
