cisco jabber not saving chat history

guys I have a user whose jabber chat disappears, if he close the chat and reopen all his chat history gets deleted.

Server side history would be dumped to an external postgres DB. Client side would be on the local machine itself in the location -
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\History.

This would be on Win7.

It seems the current history file(*.db) got corrupted and hence not storing new chat history. Traverse to below location and remove your current 'username'.db file after taking its backup.

 

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\History

 

Next when you open a chat window on Jabber, the new file would get created. This should take care of the issue of chat history not getting saved.
