Hi,
Are you using the Anyconnect client? This can be a routing issue as well, probably you should get a sniffer trace.
In the Jabber client can you please verify that the Low Bandwidth Mode is disabled:

Hi,
Anyconnect can be used to establish the tunnel through the ASA. You need to do a packet capture on the incoming and outgoing interface of the ASA to see if the packets are being sent and received after the call is connected.

Hi.
Did you check what Tere suggested you (+5 P Tere)
Also collect trace in your jabber client going in settings--->troubleshooting--->detailed logging(on)--->problem reporting--->Data archives(on)
make a call and than email problem report to you and attach the zip file here.
Regards
Carlo

Are you trying to dial another Jabber client who is also connected to VPN? The issue may be VPN to VPN RTP traffic. Call setup and control will pass through the VPN to your internal network but once call is setup RTP goes point to point. If you call a desk phone registered on your local network or a number through PSTN do you get audio? We have the same situation here and the network security group told me it is policy to not allow VPN client to VPN client direct communications, and that they never would allow it. You can try dialing out through the PSTN and back into VoIP network but then you are occupying 2 B channels, not sure if ISDN resources are an issue. If this is the issue the only other method would be to create a media termination point to hairpin RTP traffic.
Good luck
