Dear Sir,
I have CUCM and cisco mediasense server 11.x. I am using a lot of Cisco 7940 IP phones in our network and try to record the cisco IP phone 7940 phone calls. But I am not able to record the 7940 ip phone in mediasense server because C7940 don't have the Build-in-bridge features. Is there the solution to record 7940 ip phone calls in mediasense. Could you please advise.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Vector
Is it possible to use "SPAN-based Solution" in mediasense...

Hi Vector,
Yes, SPAN based recording solution would work, one of the main considerations being the bandwidth utilization.
You can also use Network based recording on CUBE but it works for SIP-SIP calls only details here

Hi
Will the CUBE based recording work for Internal IP Phone to IP Phone Calls ?
Or Does it need the call to be passed via SIP Trunk ?
Thanks

Hi Haris,
WIth Gateway Preferred Network based recording enabled and BiB disabled on the phone the internal calls should not be recorded.

Hi Manish,
Thank you for your reply, but we are trying to record internal calls(C7940 IP phones) in Mediasense Sever. Apart from CUBE based recording ,is there any other solution for it.
