Hi
i need help with cisco phone 7942 , awe 2 phone that get down and when i replace them they get ip address
exmaple when i do :
#show ephone registered

Preferred Codec: g711ulaw
but i can't make call and he don't have extension .

please can someone show me to configu the phone .

If you have other phones configured, you can use those as examples, have you already reviewed the configuration guide?

i saw configuration guide , but what i don't understand that the phone get register but when i try to make call like dial 9XXXX i don't hear nothing , its the first time i work with cisco ip phones .
