Cisco Phone Designer on CUCM 8.5.1 not working

Dear Community,

Upon upgrading our CUCM 6.1.3 to version 8.5.1 we have noticed that the Cisco Phone Designer is not anymore operational. While trying to change the Wallpaper on a phone that has already Phone Personalization enabled i receive teh error: The URL is incvalid.

Moreover, when I try to upload a new ringtone (even one of the predefined on the CPD) on the phone, while trying to preview the ringtone on the phone there is no audio.

Can anyone assist on the above? Cisco Phone Designer is a nice tool especially for "advertising" the capabilities of the Cisco Phone Devices.

Correct, Cisco announced End of Life of this widget some time ago, see here:

and there is not replacement product unfortunatelly from Cisco.

Thanks for your reply, but the application was working until the time that we upgraded to 8.5.1 and I havent seen incompatibility with the CUCM version? Could that be something else?

I'm running teh phone designer with my 8.5 CUCM with no issues (apart from an issue with Win7 64bit). Check out the log files: (As per the installation Guide)

C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco Unified Phone Application\LogFiles

. The most recent log file is called phonePersonalization.log

Post it here if you can't see anything.
