Cisco Phone forward to another phone and then back to Voicemail

Hello, I have 2 phones 1001 and 1002 in CUCM 11.5

I need calls to 1001 to roll to 1002 and then to Voicemail of 1001

Calls to 1002 need to roll to 1001 and then to voicemail of 1002.

They both are already in a huge call pickup group.

What are possible options to achieve this.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to assume you use CUC as you don't mention what you use for voicemail.

Assuming your call forward settings do not create a loop, the default behavior in CUC would be to use the original called number to choose the mailbox, which is what you want.

Adding details, I want the calls to 1001 to ring at 1001. When no answer it has to ring at 1002 and if no answer at 1002 it has to reach voicemail of 1001. Same needed for 1002 to ring at 1002 first and then at 1001 and voicemail of 1002. Yes i use CUC for voicemail.

If i use call forward it will not allow calls to comeback to 1001's Voicemail.

I have both extensions in a call pickup group but it doesnt roll to voicemail. I believe it is because its a huge group with 20+ members.

Hi Prabhakaran,

if you forwarded call from  extension  1001 to 1002 and extension 1002 to 1001 if no answer or busy, it will create loop so call will landed both extension 1001 & 1002 on the repeated manner after as per cluster wide timer or “No Answer Ring Duration Timer”.

To achieve this you need to forward only one extension and second would be forward on Voice mail pilot.
