Cisco SIP Phone CUCM Status Rejected

Hello Everyone,

I have Cisco 7841 SIP Phone. I am trying to register it to Cisco CUCM 9.1, but the status of the phone is shown as rejected in CUCM. I have added other similar phone models they are working fine, but don't know what is the issue with this phone.

Thanks

Hi Aman,

I have added an extension on the primary line. But still the status is showing rejected.

Was 7841 working earlier ? if yes, can u try factory reset and check.

regds,

aman

Yes, I have entered the correct MAC address.

Earlier the phone was registered. I had just changed the extension number and did a reset and then it started showing Rejected.

Doing a factory reset is my next action plan.

Hi Aman,

Factory Reset resolved the issue.

Thanks

yourname(config-register-global)#create profile
%Error deleting flash:/its/jabber-config.xml (File not found)

but i have this response....

i dont know what to do....

thanks all

Hi,

 Try This on the phone:

1. Settings>>Admin Settings>>Reset Settings>>All

Voice register global

tftp-path flash:

no create profile

create profile

Thanks

Thanks for your help

I have a question....if i give this command lose every profile existing? or i can have some problems with other sccp phones?

because this is phones are in service and i will not give disservice....

Thanks

Hi,

Erase the config only on the phones that are not working. Your SCCP phones will not be affected.

You are 100% sure the MAC address is correct right?  You could always copy and paste the MAC from the switch CDP to make sure.  Aman's advice on factory resetting would be wise to follow too since that would also delete the ITL file and anything else that might be stuck in there.

Hello..

Have you looked in RTMT to see what info you are getting? I have to confirm these steps as I am not at work right now...

1. Syslog viewer

2. Select SUB that phone is trying to register to

3. Alternate Log
