I have a ccm 8.0.3 server and was trying to configure all the steps that were required , and in the mobile phone number, being in india i typed in +919711....... in the destination number, i tried making a call from a neighbouring phone on my desk phone , but my mobile phone did not ring.

Is this specifically for calls coming over from the pstn or am i missing something big time.

when i call through my cisco ip phone , ext 60xx to my desk phone extension 606x , and i press the mobility softkey , i see the mobility connect off message on the phone : no mobile remote destination found.

make sur eyou are using the right Device pool and the mobile number entered in format can be route using the configured CSS and your route pattens other wise you might need to do some digit manipulations using application dial rules

Hi Marwan, i live in India, so if my 10 digit mobile extension is  : 97........ and india has the access code + 91 , then would it be +919711.......... and as well as if i have the same extension what should ideally be the route pattern , the device pool and other information seems be correct... can you kindly guide me on this  ?

ok lets make simple

if you have a device has the same device pool you used and CSS can you dial this +919.....

once this confirmed then we sure your call routing is ok we can check other part of the config

like have you associated the device with a user in the mobity option in the phone settings ?

have you enabled mobility in the user settings ?

have you added the mobility button to the phone template of the phone ?

is the remote destination profile has all the requried options and the right destination phone number ?

except for the  route pattern or may be device pool , configuration ,  i am pretty much good to go.

i checked all the steps mentioned in the document and what i think i am missing is a proper route pattern , i created one..that was \+919711xxxxxx with the essential css and partition and device association ( gatekeeeper in our case) but even then it does not seem to ring simultaneously as well the mobile app not activated message coming up on pressing the mobility soft key.

ok it seems to be somthing missing in the conoifg of SNR

or might be a bugs not sure

becuase you need to enable mobility first to get it wokring

Hi Abhishek,

Can you explain the call flow, are you using h323/mgcp/SIP gateway?

What is the connectivity to the PSTN, do you see the call hitting the gateway?

If you dont, then its an issue on the cucm configuration, or check the ISDN messages to see if the provider is disconnecting the call, in which case check what number you are sending out.

Also note if the connectivity is SIP, you will need to have a CUBE to make it work.

anothe set of call log shows call between two internal phones ( for testing purposes ) .

Hi Abhishek,

Just after the DA for the 2nd call you made, you should see a RDP profile getting invoked in the traces....

Also can you put 8011919711358416 in the remote destination and try....

Please post the call manager traces...

Thanx a ton , it worked finally with your guidance , only a small glitch which i think is with the timer, the call simply rings on the mobile phone and drops.
