Cisco SPA112 ATA: Change VLAN-Settings for factory defaults

Hi,

we plan to install around 700 SPA112 ATAs in our customers branches to connect faxes to our VoIP solution.

Voice-VLAN is set the same on every branch switchport, but LLDP isn't available. So we have to initial set the VLAN-ID on the SPA112 to bring them online.

But as we know our customers endusers, if anything isn't working, they sometimes press the reset button. So the SPA112 loads it's factory defaults and isn't reachable from remote anymore.

Is it possible in any way to make our VLAN-settings factory default (like a branding)? In addition LLDP has to be functional because the VLAN settings in the customer headquarter differ and have to be determined by LLDP.

In the case of the previously used devices, the manufacturer has supplied a special firmware with the reqiered VLAN settings. But that has made software updates much more difficult.

kind regards,

Nico
