Hello,
I have a question about a feature in Cisco Unity 7.1.3
For Playback Message settings, Before Playing Each Message, Play there is "Include Extension"
Internally we use a 5 digit dial plan: XXXXX and when someone leaves a messag it reads back the extension just fine.
When someone leaves a message from the outside it includes: 91XXX XXX XXXXX
9 being the number we dial to get out from a Cisco phone. Is there anyway to strip the 91 from being read?
Thank You

Unity is simply using the calling number sent by CUCM (assuming you're using CUCM for call control), so you would need to modify the number before it gets sent to Unity. One option would be to use a translation pattern that calls hit before being forwarded to Unity.
Hope this helps.

so would I be creating a translation pattern: 91XXXXXXXXXX
what would I need to put under Called Party Transformations?
Thanks
