Dear All,
I use cisco unity connection call handler as an IVR. it runs a welcome prompt and transfer the called to the dialed extension.
the call handler transfer calls to the extensions that have mailboxes. I need to transfer calls to extensions which didn't have mailboxes. All mailboxes are used and the customer doesn't want to buy additional license.
I am looking for a workaround for the license limitation
Please help
thanks in advance

Hi Anas,
Sorry that I misunderstood your requirements. If using the dial
by extension, and checking the "allow transfers" then the next
place to check is here;
On the Default System Transfer Restriction Table, when I want to transfer to extensions
that begin with 8 but are not part of Unity Connection I need to set;
8???* - Allow
If it was numbers that begin with 5 it would be;
5???* - Allow
Can you give that a try
Cheers!

Hi Anas,
If you want to have people that can be searched via the voice-enabled DH
but don't have a mailbox on the system you can set them up as Contacts
in Unity Connection which doesn't require any licenses
Cheers!

Hi Stones,
I need to let the caller enter the extension by pressing the digits and get transfered.
I don't want to enable voice-enabled DH.
I configured contatcts and it didn't work. I check the box under greetings to "
Any Idea
Thanks in advance
