Cisco Unity Connection 8.6

Hi,

Have some issue with my cisco unity connection 8.6.

We did a reboot on the server as it was loading slowly on the web and now after reboot the service manager is not able to restart.

Anyone know where can I find the recovery iso for this CUC version 8.6?

Yes it will work. The versions don't need to match exactly and 9.1 can work
with 8.6. Just sync users from LDAP directly instead of importing them from
CUCM (although this should work between 8.6 and 9.1)

Hi, CUC is out of support. It won't be on Cisco website. You need to do
deeper search online. Give it a try with TAC to see if they can share.

Yes, have tried to search it online unfortunately not able to found such version.

May I know if my cucm version is 8.6.2, will it work if I install a new virtual CUC version 9.1?

Thanks.

Appreciate any reply.

Noted. Great to know that.

Appreciate your assistance on this.

Thanks.

You're aware that 9.x is also EOS/EOL just as 8.x, right?

Your 8.x licenses won't work on a 9.x server.

But how do you license the new virtual CUC ?

Haven't go into that. We just restarted the physical CUC again and the service is up.

Yes, noted that. Think we have to change the physical server, cucm and cuc version as well due to all of it is EOS/EOL already.

Good news is currently we are able to restart the tomcat service again.

We just did another graceful restart of the CUC server and all the services was able run this time.

Appreciate all the helpful support. This is really a great community.
